- The Tapestry: a MSPFA about aliens. it's set in the homestuck universe but requires no prior reading! the art is breathtaking here and the story is captivating
- Val and Isaac: small comics set in a colorful, diverse universe. simple yet memorable character design and very high quality humor!
- xkcd: simple artstyle, scientific humor. easy to understand but extremely educational nonetheless
- Cocksley and Catapult: silly comic. i don't have much to say about it but it's good

- corru.observer: an immersive exploration of alien technology. unique artstyle, fantastic OST and wonderfully put together worldbuilding. if you're into computers and/or aliens you will absolutely love this, guaranteed. even has a reduced difficulty mode! the people over at its discord are amazing as well!
- Trust and Safety Tycoon: manage a social media company's entire moderation team! make important decisions and experience consequences! a great representation of struggles of modern online moderation
- Nicky Case's entire collection: many small educational games worth playing! the site's got wonderful articles too
- mouchette.org: not quite a game but a fun webpage to explore. warning it's quite unsettling!

- (PC/mobile, free demo) Slice&Dice: a dice-based adventure with numerous builds to explore
- (PC/mobile, free) Shattered Pixel Dungeon: a classic roguelike without any typical mobile game crap! open source and has 300+ mods made by the community. what's not to love
- (PC, paid) Noita: a thouroughly magical experience. build wands with no restrictions and use them on enemies in a world with one-of-a-kind simulated physics system. might be a little hard but it supports mods
